Riskbed\u00f6mning handlar om att fatta beslut om vad som \u00e4r en acceptabel riskniv\u00e5, snarare \u00e4n att f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka undvika alla risker och all exponering f\u00f6r olika faror.<\/p><p>Alla former av praktiskt laboratoriearbete ska riskbed\u00f6mas, det vill s\u00e4ga elevf\u00f6rs\u00f6k, demonstrationer samtl\u00e4rarens f\u00f6r- och efterarbete. Riskbed\u00f6mningen ska dokumenteras skriftligt.<\/p><p>En\u00a0<strong>fara<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e4r n\u00e5got som kan orsaka skador p\u00e5 m\u00e4nniskor, utrustning eller milj\u00f6n. I en kemisal kan det till exempel handla om\u00a0farliga kemikalier, h\u00f6g temperatur, trasigt glas, elfel eller hala golv.<\/p><p>En\u00a0<strong>risk<\/strong>\u00a0omfattar b\u00e5de\u00a0sannolikheten att n\u00e5got o\u00f6nskat h\u00e4nder och konsekvenserna av h\u00e4ndelsen. Alla aktiviteter inneb\u00e4r en viss grad av risk, men vid l\u00e5g risk \u00e4r sannolikheten f\u00f6r olyckor liten med sm\u00e5 konsekvenser. Denna information finns i kemikaliernas s\u00e4kerhetsdatablad. D\u00e4r beskrivs \u00e4ven hur kemikalierna ska hanteras.<\/p><h3>Fysiska faror<\/h3><p>Fysiska faror \u00e4r faktorer eller f\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden som kan orsaka skada. Exempel p\u00e5 fysiska faror \u00e4r brand, heta eller vassa f\u00f6rem\u00e5l, hantering av trycksatta k\u00e4rl, het \u00e5nga, buller, hala eller v\u00e5ta golv och elektricitet.<\/p><h3>Milj\u00f6faror<\/h3><p>Milj\u00f6farliga \u00e4mnen kan skada levande organismer vid utsl\u00e4pp i naturen. Exempel p\u00e5 s\u00e5dana \u00e4mnen \u00e4r milj\u00f6farliga metaller och \u00e4mnen med hormonst\u00f6rande egenskaper. \u00c4mnen som bryts ner l\u00e5ngsamt och ansamlas i naturen, r\u00e4knas ocks\u00e5 som milj\u00f6farliga, \u00e4ven n\u00e4r det saknas dokumenterade skadliga effekter. Till exempel:<\/p><ul><li>Om m\u00e5nga elever hanterar en utsp\u00e4dd ammoniakl\u00f6sning samtidigt blir exponeringen mer riskfylld j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med vid enskilt arbete.<\/li><li>Vatten \u00e4r ofarligt vid rumstemperatur, men kokhett vatten kan orsaka br\u00e4nnskador.<\/li><li>Citrusfrukter kan utg\u00f6ra en risk om n\u00e5gon \u00e4r allergisk.<\/li><\/ul><p>Riskbed\u00f6mningen ska anpassas till typen av aktivitet, var den \u00e4ger rum, antalet elever, \u00e5rskurs och andra relevanta f\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-627da46 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"627da46\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>F\u00f6rebyggande \u00e5tg\u00e4rder<\/h2><p>N\u00e4r aktivitetens faror har identifierats b\u00f6r n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndiga \u00e5tg\u00e4rder planeras f\u00f6r att reducera risken till en acceptabel niv\u00e5.
